For the therapy to be effective, it must take place on many levels, which is why the patient participates in various types of therapeutic activities during a month-long stay, such as: group psychotherapy, individual psychotherapy, art therapy, psychodrawing, choreotherapy, music therapy, psychoeducation, biographical and reparative psychodrama, body image, social cognition and neurocognition training, relaxation. If necessary, we also use pharmacotherapy. Our patients are treated under the supervision of top-class specialists with over 20 years of experience. Our medical staff includes: psychiatrists, internists, psychotherapists, clinical psychologists, psychodietitians and clinical dietitians, diagnosticians, art therapists, music therapists, choreotherapists and a nursing team necessary to maintain safe therapy. We provide our patients with medical care.
Nutritional therapy for people with eating disorders includes individually adjusted calorie and type of diet, depending on the patient’s somatic condition and the severity of the disease. Throughout treatment at the Specialized Therapy Center, the patient is under the constant care of a psychodietitian and the diet is continuously adjusted to the patient’s current needs. Our facility is located in a quiet, wooded area of Konstancin Jeziorna. We value the privacy of our patients, so our facilities are not marked in any way – discretion guarantees safe therapy. See photos of our facilities. After completing treatment at the Specialized Therapy Center, the patient has the option to continue therapy on an outpatient basis. We remain in constant contact with the patient to monitor further treatment.
