Another one-year stay (06.01.2002-06.01.2003) at a renowned research centre (Department of Cognitive Neuropsychiatry; Neuroimaging Unit, Institute of Psychiatry, London) enabled me to carry out a research project entitled "Fear perception in schizophrenia: a combined structural and functional MRI study" using the latest neuroimaging techniques (fMRI BOLD method), with the use of unique research experiments aimed at searching for the "emotional brain" in norm and pathology.
