Our team

Our team consists of doctors and specialists with over 20 years of experience in clinical work with patients. We approach each patient individually and comprehensively, which is why the patient is under the constant care of psychiatrists, internists, psychotherapists, clinical psychologists, psychodietitians and clinical dietitians, diagnosticians, art therapists, music therapists, choreotherapists and nurses.

 Aneta Kulakowska

Psychotherapist

I graduated in psychology from the University of Economics and Humanities in Warsaw, and then addiction therapy at the two-year Addiction and Co-Addiction Treatment Study run by the Silesian Blue Cross Foundation in Brok, accredited by the State Agency for Solving Alcohol Problems and the National Bureau for Counteracting Drug Addiction. I also completed a four-year basic training at the Polish Institute of Integrative Psychotherapy in Krakow (accredited by EAP - European Association for Psychotherapy, PFP - Polish Federation of Psychotherapy and PTPIiS - Polish Society for Integrative Systemic Psychotherapy), in accordance with the recommendations of the Minister of Health. As part of the above training, I completed over 1,740 hours of training, including: theoretical training (685 hours), my own psychotherapy within a group (525 hours), clinical internship in a mental health facility (388 hours) and group supervision (143 hours). I am currently taking part in PROFI advanced supervisory training and am also in the certification process. • Office of the Patient Rights Advocate in Warsaw (Mental Health Team) I have also completed many stationary training courses,  including : • DSM-V clinical diagnosis, • integrative systemic short-term psychotherapy, • integrative systemic psychotherapy for depression, • metasystemic psychotherapy for anxiety disorders, • hypnosis in psychotherapy, • working on trauma using bilateral stimulation (EMDR), • diagnosis and integrative exploratory-affirmative psychotherapy for people questioning gender, • harm reduction program in addiction. – addiction therapy.

Kaja Derlatka-Cieślak 

Psychologist, Trainer.

Graduate of the Faculty of Psychology at SWPS University (specialization: clinical psychology) and the School of Psychological Training and Workshop at the Intra Psychological Education and Support Center. At Gedeon Medica, she conducts assertiveness, body image, stress management training, and also provides individual psychological consultations. She works with both adults and youth, helping to develop skills that support the therapeutic process.

mgr Ewelina Gleń

Dietitian, Psychodietitian

I am a certified dietitian, a graduate of the Medical University of Katowice and the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.  I also completed postgraduate studies in Psychodietetics at the Warsaw School of Social Psychology and pedagogical training. Additionally, I am a court expert in the field of dietetics and psychodietetics. I have the title of a specialist friendly to insulin-resistant people with the SOIT- School of Insulinresistance Therapy certificate. I also obtained the title of a specialist friendly to children. I specialize in the nutritional treatment of patients with eating disorders and food selectivity. I am constantly expanding my knowledge by participating in conferences and training. At Gedeon Medica, I provide dietary and psychodietetic consultations for patients with eating disorders. I support them in the process of regaining a healthy relationship with food.

M.A. Robert Gajewski

Psychotherapist

Psychologist, psychotherapist working in the humanistic-experiential stream. Helps to find one's way in the complicated world of disordered feelings, desires and needs. He graduated with distinction from a five-year, full-time  Master's degree program in clinical and personality psychology at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. He completed  a four-year Psychotherapy School  at the Warsaw Intra Center recommended by the Polish Psychological Association. He has completed over  150 hours of self-therapy. He systematically improves his qualifications in the field of psychotherapy and clinical psychology. His work is subject to regular  individual and group supervision. He has extensive experience and knowledge in the area of ​​religiosity and spirituality. He conducts scientific research on their impact on mental health as part of his doctoral thesis. He has been working as an educator for children and youth for over 20 years. He has been associated with Gedeon Medica since 2021.

Krzysztof Pietrucha

Music Therapist

He conducts music therapy at the Specialist Therapy Center. During the classes, patients express their emotions by playing musical instruments. Music allows them to express feelings that cannot be described in words and affects their well-being. Graduate of the Academy of Music in Łódź - music therapy, academic lecturer. Completed 2-year training in music therapy techniques with Dr. E. Galińska. Active, concert classical guitarist, teacher in the guitar class at the music school. Krzysztof Pietrucha deals with problems related to: childhood autism, Asperger syndrome, ADHD, inability to cope with stress, problems with concentration, low self-esteem.

Elżbieta Staszak

Art Therapist

She runs Art Therapy workshops – i.e. art therapy – which gives participants the opportunity to relax, rest and reduces mental tension. Elżbieta Staszak is a graduate of the Academy of Special Education in Warsaw, majoring in Art Therapy with elements of pedagogical therapy, and a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań. Art therapy through creative activities improves well-being, increases self-awareness, sense of value, increases motivation, and increases control over emotions.  During art therapy classes, visual arts are used – painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, photography – for the sake of self-creation. The combination of free creative expression with unconventional topics, non-obvious selection of materials and tools, brings out inner strength, energy and creativity. During art therapy activities, participants communicate through their work. This is a special type of communication, the work becomes a symbolic link between the inner and outer world. All this is done in accordance with the individual needs and possibilities of the participant. Participants in art therapy do not need to have artistic abilities or previous experience. Elżbieta Staszak conducts art classes that allow the acquisition of skills in the use of art techniques (drawing, painting, ceramics) with elements of art therapy for children, adolescents and adults. She completed the course: Application of neuroeducation in school practice as well as the course: Art therapy in the work of a teacher and pedagogue. Her motto is:  "Art is a lie that makes us realize the truth"  Pablo Picasso.

Elżbieta Kurak

Psychologist, Psychodietician

At the Specialist Therapy Centre she runs culinary workshops and psychodietetic consultations. During the workshops, patients have the opportunity to prepare various dishes on their own and taste them – this contributes to a sense of agency, creativity and also allows for relaxation and reduction of mental tension. These classes are an important element of therapy for people suffering from eating disorders – they help in gradually acquiring readiness to overcome the fear of eating or, on the contrary, support training in controlling impulsive behaviours or compulsive eating. During the workshops, patients have the opportunity to integrate various stimuli in a multi-sensory way, which is an excellent sensory integration training especially for people with ASD. In addition, all people can take a close look at their relationship with food. As part of psychodietetic consultations, she works primarily with people suffering from eating disorders – she helps overcome the mechanisms and thoughts of illness; she provides emotional support, strengthens motivation and a sense of effectiveness. She works based on a holistic approach to a person, where the influence of the psyche on the body and the body on the psyche is inextricably linked. She accompanies patients in a process focused on changing the way they think about food and themselves, focused on emotions, habits and consciousness. She works with young people and adults in the field of nutritional psychology – she supports people whose nutritional problems are related to psychological difficulties – chronic stress, emotion regulation, lack or excess of control in eating behavior.  EDUCATION Graduate of 5 years of studies in Psychology – University of Warsaw – specialization in child clinical psychology. She also graduated from: – postgraduate studies in psychodietetics (psychology of nutrition) at the SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Warsaw and professional internship in psychodietetics at the Institute of Psychodietetics in Wrocław. – postgraduate studies in psychosomatics and somatopsychology SWPS University in Warsaw – postgraduate studies Mindfulness and compassion – basics, research, psychotherapy at SWPS University in Warsaw. -one-year certified training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for Child and Adolescent Disorders and Solution-Focused Therapy (TFCT) -training and trainer certificate in the Dutch method of proper communication in the family (VIT method) VIT SPIN at the Polish PLUS Foundation.  EXPERIENCE She gained her experience at the Department of Child and Adolescent Neurosis at the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology in Warsaw, at the Synapsis Foundation in work with children with autism spectrum disorder; at the Family Health Department and at the Department of Early Psychological Intervention at the Institute of Mother and Child in Warsaw. She conducted workshops on nutrition for people with Hashimoto's disease and for parents of children with autism spectrum disorder. Her motto is:  "It is lifestyle changes, not miracle diets, that bring the desired results. Many problems begin in the head, so separating the mind from the body is not possible."
