She runs Art Therapy workshops – i.e. art therapy – which gives participants the opportunity to relax, rest and reduces mental tension.

Elżbieta Staszak is a graduate of the Academy of Special Education in Warsaw, majoring in Art Therapy with elements of pedagogical therapy, and a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań.

Art therapy through creative activities improves well-being, increases self-awareness, sense of value, increases motivation, and increases control over emotions.

During art therapy classes, visual arts are used – painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, photography – for the sake of self-creation. The combination of free creative expression with unconventional topics, non-obvious selection of materials and tools, brings out inner strength, energy and creativity.

During art therapy activities, participants communicate through their work. This is a special type of communication, the work becomes a symbolic link between the inner and outer world. All this is done in accordance with the individual needs and possibilities of the participant. Participants in art therapy do not need to have artistic abilities or previous experience.

Elżbieta Staszak conducts art classes that allow the acquisition of skills in the use of art techniques (drawing, painting, ceramics) with elements of art therapy for children, adolescents and adults.

She completed the course: Application of neuroeducation in school practice as well as the course: Art therapy in the work of a teacher and pedagogue.

Her motto is:  “Art is a lie that makes us realize the truth”  Pablo Picasso.

For the first time in my life I felt that I didn't have to pretend and cover everything with a smile, that I could take off the mask, show my fragile side, which would be accepted and cared for.

I realized that even though it can be hard sometimes, there is hope for me somewhere and it is worth striving for.

Despite doubts, bitterness, lack of a sense of purpose, irritation and anger, I would like to say that it passes. And in its place there is gratitude, a sense of warmth and kindness.
